This upcoming Leil Hoshana Raba, October 22, 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. Teaneck’s Congregation Bnai Yeshurun will host a special teen boys learning program, Chayenu, in memory of the kedoshim who have fallen on/since October 7, and l’zchus the protection of our chayalim and hostages.

The program is being organized by Operation Torah Shield (OTS), a YU student-led organization in partnership with local high schools and organizations. The combination of Leil Hoshana Rabba, which itself is an auspicious time for learning, and the first yahrzeit of last year’s tragic events, will make the evening particularly meaningful and reinforce the central message that uniting together in learning is our primary response to national suffering. There will be engaging shiurim from popular high school rebbeim, breakout chaburahs from an all-star lineup of madrichim, a kumzitz, food and more. All high school boys are welcome and encouraged to join.
