The Lester Senior Housing Community in Whippany will host an open house for its Memory Care Suite on Thursday, March 15, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Area residents interested in learning more about Memory Care at Lester, the community’s personalized-care approach for individuals with dementia-related conditions, are invited to attend and tour the intimate, homey suite.
Caregivers in the Memory Care Suite are specially trained in the Comfort Matters™ approach to memory care, which emphasizes a holistic perspective that puts each individual’s needs and well-being first. Residents enjoy a life that’s supported by compassionate care, and that offers many enriching activities and services that promote comfort and provide opportunities for socializing. These include pet therapy, aromatherapy, music therapy, crafts, exercise classes and games. Memory care residents are often joined by other seniors in the Weston Assisted Living Residence, where the Memory Care Suite is located, which fosters a greater sense of community for all involved.
Memory Care at Lester is for older adults, ages 62 and up, with dementia-related diagnoses. To reserve a spot at the open house and tour on March 15, contact David Rozen at 973-929-2725 or [email protected].
