Area seniors and loved ones will learn about independent and assisted living options, as well as dementia care, at Lester’s senior living community.
(Courtesy of Lester Senior Housing) The Lester Senior Housing Community in Whippany will host two open houses on consecutive Wednesdays, January 24 and January 31, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Area seniors and their family members are invited to tour the distinctive senior residence, including the new Memory Care Suite. The tour will start in the living room off the lobby of the community’s Heller Independent Living Apartments, where light refreshments will be served. Visitors will have a chance to get information about:
Memory care at Lester—Available for adults ages 62 and older with a dementia-related diagnosis. The community’s caregivers provide highly personalized care that focuses on the individual’s well-being at all times in intimate, supportive surroundings. This person-centered dementia care supports each resident’s specific needs with a focus on comfort and calm while also engaging each person with meaningful activities.
Short-term respite stays—Seniors can sample the Lester lifestyle with a short-term respite stay in the Weston Assisted Living Residence.
