Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Let us begin by saying we were so proud of the Teaneck community for not standing down in the face of pro-terrorist disruptors. Taking initiative is empowering! Chazak u’baruch!

Nissan is one of our favorite months. The potential of miracles rides in the air, notwithstanding eclipses or earthquakes in NY & NJ. Our beloved Israel just experienced a miracle of huge proportions at Iran’s expense, a message Teaneck native Rabbi Efrem Goldberg hopes is mentioned at all Pesach Sedarim, and yes, when the kids are still awake.

Ishay Ribo spent a magnificent Shabbos weekend in concert at Boca Raton Synagogue. We have been playing his music for years on our radio shows. DJ Al and I have been to many concerts over the decades, including all the greats in the secular and Jewish worlds. I must say, this one topped them all. Rabbi Goldberg referred to it as a rally for Israel in prayer and song.

There are many musical and chol hamoed events coming up. We hope everyone enjoys their time with family in safety. U2 singer Bono, who changed the lyrics to his famous song “Pride-In the Name of Love” after October 7 to honor the Jewish people, says, “Joy is the ultimate act of defiance.” It is indeed. May our Joy shine brightly, even when…

So, it seems everyone is talking about our son Joey Newcomb’s new song “Ka’eileh” and of course the music video. We saw it displayed across all the Jewish news platforms as well.

Lots of new music is hitting the stands from kids, something close to our hearts. The Miami Boys Choir has released “One Voice,” and Shalsheles Junior released “Besheim Hashem.”

Dovy Meisels and Thank You Hashem Nation’s “Shabbos is Coming” is a new leibidig favorite of DJ Leibidig Al. Good music enhances our shared Shabbos preparations. Sholom Jacobs’ “Mi Sheberach” is powerful with new multiple music videos available to view.

Dovid Pearlman, a special soul and talented singer, composed a beautiful song for his wife, which he hopes IDF wives and other cherished women will benefit from as well. Yechiel Schron’s “Modim Lach” is a lively zemer. Thank You Hashem Nation in collaboration with Afiko.man have released the new album “Rise Up” with a variety of tracks, something for everyone. As far as the offer we received to sign up for post-Pesach pizza via app, well, we’ll pass. LOL. Let’s see what the future brings. We’ve moved away from apps and online time, preferring to connect and socialize in person, up close. Special wishes for those who are alone or feel alone. Our hearts and chaplains’ welcome mat are out and open for you. It’s never too late…

As we make sure Israel is never alone, let’s remain active in life, both publicly and privately. We partner with God towards bringing redemption. Showing up makes all the difference.

Wishing all a peaceful & meaningful Yom Tov! Am Yisroel Chai! Thank you Hashem!
