The Gluten-Free Gemach would like to publicly thank Butterflake Bakery and Richard Heisler for the donation of dozens of exquisitely delicious cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Many people benefitted from your great generosity, especially children with celiac who now have special desserts to share with classmates on their birthdays.

Kudos to RYNJ Honorees

I would like to comment on the upcoming RYNJ Scholarship Reception honoring Rabbi Shmuel and Barbara Goldstein. Personally I owe Rabbi Goldstein much gratitude for hiring me in 1984, when RYNJ was a fledgling school in Bergen County, and giving me a wonderful 29-year career of teaching there. In addition, I also received the privilege of watching Rabbi Goldstein and Barbara build the school literally from the ground up to the educational institution it is today. Countless teachers and students have been inspired through the years by their formidable talents, wisdom and tireless dedication. Thanks to their efforts, RYNJ will be able to continue on its mission to give the best Jewish and secular education to every child who passes through its doors.
