On May 20, Lital Glickman, a fifth grad­er at Ben Porat Yosef, received an award from Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera for her poetry submission to the annual poet­ry competition held by the Paramus library. Nine Paramus schools submitted entries and Lital won third place in the Fifth Grade category for her poem, entitled “Butterfly.”
