(Courtesy of Friendship Circle) “Mazel tov” echoed across Microlab Road, August 29, as the street was officially renamed “Miracle Way.” On hand to unveil the “Miracle Way” street signs and mark this landmark event were Livingston Mayor Alfred Anthony and former mayor and current town council member Ed Meinhardt. They were joined by the staff of LifeTown, along with a group of volunteers and participants.
Mayor Anthony said he was looking forward to LifeTown’s Grand Opening celebration coming up on Monday, September 9. The mayor noted that LifeTown “is a jewel in our town. I love coming here.”
LifeTown CEO Rabbi Zalman Grossbaum mentioned that the name of the street is apropos given everything that goes on at LifeTown. He quoted the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, explaining that a miracle is when this world is impacted by extraordinary energies, which causes extraordinary things to happen. A good deed has the same transformative impact on the world. So, too, each good deed creates miracles.
“The miracle of LifeTown is all the people, from community leaders, to our families and all the teens who volunteer, their energy and mitzvot have created miracles,” he said. “We are so proud to be in this town and so thankful for the town embracing LifeTown.” Welcome to LifeTown on Miracle Way!
