The Waverunners, a competitive swim team based at the JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly, broke another New Jersey state record. The age 10 & under men’s relay team, consisting of Ezra Borgen (age 10), Eric Kwon (age 9), Joseph Bae (age 10) and Eric Lee (age 10) swam the 200 yard freestyle relay in 1:53.58. That was a 0.65 second improvement on the standing New Jersey Short Course record of 1:54.23, which was set by the Morris County Swim Club in December 2011. The record-breaking swim took place at the 2016 Hall-O-Ween Meet which was held at Seton Hall University in South Orange on October 9. The Waverunners, led by Coach Juya Cho, had posted a previous state record in July in the 200 meter freestyle relay
