Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Nursery and pre-k students at Lubavitch on the Palisades enjoyed learning about musical instruments. The children listened to the sounds of a piano, drum, flute, guitar and accordion and had a chance to play with the instruments throughout the week. They were exposed to different music genres such as classical and jazz. They discussed how the classical music made them feel relaxed and calm while the jazz music made them feel like getting up and dancing. They painted while listening to the music genres and saw how the music affected their art styles. Each child created their own harps using various art materials.
