In anticipation of Tu B’Shevat, preschool students at Lubavitch on the Palisades learned all about fruits and vegetables and where they come from. They learned that fruits grow on trees and that vegetables grow from the ground. They created many projects and played various games to reinforce these concepts and expand their vocabulary and knowledge of fruits and vegetables. Once children understand the sources for different foods they were able to apply the information to help them figure out the proper blessings for each food.
