LPS children continued learning the story of how the Jewish people left Egypt and journeyed through the desert until they reached Har Sinai to receive the Torah. They learned that we count sefirat haomer, the days from Pesach to Shavuot. Children began their preparations for Shavuot by practicing their numbers with many different games and activities and painting a large Har Sinai to decorate their classroom.
