Lubavitch on the Palisades Preschool students prepared for Chanukah this week with art, math and science activities. The children prepared their own unique functional menorahs which they brought home to share the tradition of lighting Chanukah candles with their families. Children were delighted as they spun their dreidels and practiced adding and subtracting coins based on whether their dreidels landed on nun, gimel, hey or shin. They also enjoyed science experiments in which they learned all about olive oil, its properties and how it is made in an olive press.
