Themed spirit days provided a great way to get back into the swing of learning at LPS after Winter Break. Monday was pajama day. The children looked so comfortable and adorable in their sleepwear.
On Tuesday, all students sported the LPS school shirts. The school PTA ordered these Rosh Chodesh shirts for the kindergarten and elementary school students. Students were neat, proud, and unified in the school attire.
On Wednesday the children dressed like their favorite biblical characters. Needless to say, there were many Queen Esthers. Joelle Leiberman and Dani Barak won the costume contest of the day. Joelle was a very creative Rivka, and Dani was an equally creative Avraham. Second place went to Maya Broadchandle who dressed as Yehudit, and third place went to Isaac Cohen who dressed as a colorful Joseph.
On Thursday all students wore the school colors. The halls were a sea of burgundy, blue, and yellow.
The week of spirited dress was topped off on Friday with “dress like a twin day.” Even the teachers decided to dress similarly.
