As a culmination of first grade at LPS, the students published their own stories. Throughout the year they have worked on sentence structure, story elements and their overall reading and writing skills. During the past month, students have brainstormed, drafted and finalized their original stories. The young writers came constructed their own characters as well as a unique problem and solution. Last week, students and their parents traveled to Womraths Bookstore where they read their stories aloud to an audience.
