The children of the Leah Sokoloff Nursery School Summer Program enjoyed learning about friends in the neighborhood and how to be good citizens. They learned how recycling protects the environment that we all share. The children made a city out of recycled materials and their own recycling decals. They enjoyed a special visit from the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps EMTs and all got to hop aboard the ambulance to see what was inside. They learned that they can be community helpers by visiting friends when they are sick, a very important mitzvah.
