(Courtesy of Lubavitch on the Palisades) Lubavitch on the Palisades celebrated Lag B’Omer at the Alpine Scout Camp with an extravaganza for the entire family. Lag B’Omer is a day marked on the Jewish calendar as a day of joy, light and happiness. In the spirit of unity and ahavat Yisrael, they joined together with Chabad of Old Tappan, Chabad of Closter and Chabad of Dumont for this year’s Lag B’Omer celebration. Over 700 people attended the Grand Unity Celebration, which included a lively outdoor family barbecue, complete with music and entertainment, activities for the entire family, a spectacular helicopter show, and a bonfire.
