On Yom Hazikaron, sadness and gratitude resonated throughout the halls of Ma’ayanot. Photos of fallen soldiers and terror victims were on display, and the school participated in a beautiful memorial ceremony coordinated by Merav Tal-Timen’s 11th grade Hebrew class. Two IDF veterans, including a Ma’ayanot graduate, shared their experiences, offering students a sense of personal connection to the sacrifices and risks that have kept Israel safe.
