Ma’ayanot students wrapped up an incredible semester with their deans and advisors. They reflected together on the challenges of this year, with a focus on building each other up with positive and encouraging words. They celebrated the many successes of the semester by anonymously sharing admirable attributes and compliments about classmates and friends. Students each wrote their names on hot chocolate cups which were then passed around so other students could write encouraging words on classmates’ cups. At the end of the exercise, students filled their cups with hot chocolate and had some time to hang out and enjoy each other’s company while internalizing the beautiful messages their classmates had left for them to read. Coming together this semester, with all the challenges, has truly strengthened students’ connection and appreciation for each other!
