The Ma’ayanot AP Bio class took a trip to the Harlem DNA lab. There they performed an experiment called Restriction Enzyme Analysis, where they used special enzymes to cut bacteria DNA into pieces. They then used a technique called gel electrophoresis in order to visualize them!
