With warmth and spirit, Ma’ayanot bid farewell to the Class of 2018 at the school’s 19th annual commencement exercises on Sunday, June 10. Noting the seniors’ accomplishments throughout their high school career, the school’s president, Daniel Altman, encouraged the students to “be a ‘maayan,’ constantly evolving.” Principal Rivka Kahan spoke about the symbolism of Aharon’s flowering staff, which she interpreted to represent the values of compassion, education and an appreciation of each individual’s unique avodat Hashem. Students heard addresses from the class valedictorian, Atara Neugroschl; salutatorian, Batsheva Leah Weinstein; and class speaker, Adira Levine. Ma’ayanot wishes continued success to all of its graduates.
