Ma’ayanot Graduate Provides Beauty Packages to Healthcare Workers

Rachel Dube, currently a senior at Rutgers University, is a busy political science major. However, she still makes time for her weekly beauty and fashion blog which has approximately 18,000 readers. A graduate of Ma’ayanot, she is part of an extended family for which acts of chesed are a given. Following suit, Dube has been in touch with the beauty and skincare companies about whom she blogs and asked them to donate samples to the healthcare staffers who are on the frontlines fighting COVID-19. The companies have been very generous and Dube has already distributed gift packs containing a combination of skincare products, cosmetics and hair accessories three times since starting her project, twice to the staff at St. Peters and once to Robert Wood Johnson, both in New Brunswick, New Jersey. During the next few weeks, she hopes to make another delivery to Robert Wood Johnson. On the receiving end, the nurses and staff are overjoyed to be receiving pampering gifts during this stressful time.

Included among the brands participating are Neutrogena, Bravo Sierra, Molton Brown, Joanna Vargas, Scunci and many others.
