Student journalists from Ma’a­yanot’s e-Source school newspaper and the Sambatyon literary journal attended the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Fall Conference at Columbia University last week with their adviser, Enid Goldberg. As Yael Bruk (‘19) reported, “There were lecture topics ranging from ‘How To Be More Creative’ to ‘Legal Issues In Covering Protests.’ Every session that I went to was funny, while also informative. The speakers ranged from recent graduates, to professors from various colleges, to illustrators; the variety made each session all the more unique. I had an amazing day and I’m so excited to go back next year.”
