The JV Rapids had another win on Monday evening. Sophomore Noa Berkowitz, the captains of the Rapids, scored the first six points for the team, giving them the lead. Then sophomore Nealy Saks scored and had a key defensive play in the first half by taking a charge, an amazing and strong play that set the Rapids up for a lead at the half. The game was very close when SAR tied it up at the foul line. In the second half, freshmen Michal Meiseles and Sophie Lerer sealed the game with crucial foul shots and stellar scoring, with Lerer scoring 20 points through all four quarters. Berkowitz scored a total of 14 points in the game. Congratulations to the Rapids on this strong 48-40 win. This Sunday, they match up again against SAR at home.
