(Ma’ayanot Sports) The Ma’ayanot Rapids hockey team hosted SKA last week with a big crowd cheering them on. It was a very physical game but the Rapids ultimately prevailed. Senior captain Kira Jacobs and Yael Bodoff had an assist each. Junior Kayla Greenberg knocked in both goals for the Rapids. SKA knocked in one goal in the second period. Junior goalie had over 10 big saves including a clutch save in the last few seconds while SKA tried to tie it up before the buzzer. The final score was 2-1. The Rapids varsity soccer, softball and tennis teams were also victorious this last week.
