The Ma’ayanot Model Congress team had a fun and successful day at the Yeshiva League Model Congress Tournament at HAFTR High School. Students wrote bills and resolutions and then debated whether or not the student “Congress” should pass them. Three students placed, with junior Ayelet Ostrin tying for Third Place Overall. Senior Avigayil Levy won first place in her committee, and sophomore Rosa Marks won second place in hers. The experiential learning experience was fun and enriching for everyone.
