(Ma’ayanot sports) Last week the Ma’ayanot Rapids varsity volleyball team participated in a tournament hosted by YULA. Schools from all over the country competed daily in several matches. The Rapids had a great start winning their first two matches vs. THSSD (San Diego) and then Jewish Culture Academy. Throughout the tournament and shabbaton the team had memorable interactions with players and families from other schools as well as taking advantage of some sightseeing at Hollywood Boulevard and Santa Monica Pier. Congratulations to all-tournament winner, senior captain, Michelle Gutwein. Thank you to amazing coaches, Coach Chayim and Coach Lisa for their commitment to the players’ growth and success.
