In STEAM class, the ninth grade has been gaining an understanding of how to code and build. One project in this unit includes learning how to code a blinking LED light and then sewing into bucket hats. The final result will be for each student to create and build their very own wearable technology, with flashing LED lights that respond to the level of darkness in a room. This project is just one example of the many practical and exciting tools the Ma’ayanot students create in STEAM class. STEAM at Ma’ayanot is an amazing opportunity for all of the students to explore the many facets of technology that are encountered in daily life.
