Ma’ayanot students celebrated Chanukah through a special Chalympics (Chanukah Olympics). Schoolwide math classes participated by completing fun math challenges with their teammates. During Mrs. Steinfeld’s geometry class, the students competed with escape room puzzles testing their knowledge with congruent triangle theorems. In Mrs. Steinfeld’s and Mrs. Shine’s Algebra II classes, students completed a transformations activity where they practiced their skills with absolute value and piecewise functions by transforming a menorah on a coordinate plane using translation and dilation rules.
