Ma’ayanot had the privilege of hosting Rabbi Uri Pilichowski from Israel over Zoom to address the faculty and students. Rabbi Uri is actively involved in pro-Israel advocacy and Israel education. He inspired students by highlighting Israel’s strength of purpose, giving an update on the current situation and historical moment in U.S.-Israel relations, and offering ideas on how to be engaged in a variety of meaningful ways. Senior Mia Polonetsky commented, “Rabbi Uri reminded us that the Jewish people are warriors, and even though it is normal to feel scared and uncertain right now, the Jewish people are a strong nation and this is our chance to come together and unite.” Thank you Rabbi Uri for the chizuk and inspiration that was so needed!
