On Yom HaShoah, Ma’ayanot students and faculty joined together to remember the six million Jews that perished. Following a candlelight procession, students were honored to hear from Holocaust survivor Hadassah Carlebach, great-grandmother of senior Dina Kalmanson. Mrs. Carlebach shared her story of courage, perseverance and strength and reminded them about the power of emunah and believing in Hashem.
