This past Sunday, Frisch hosted a cross country meet at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park N.J. (5 K run). Over 38 athletes participated in this event, and the Rapids won first place with 24 points. Second place was for SAR with 30 points. Miriam Hendler finished the race in first place in 25:24 minutes and Shulamit Dashevsky won third place and finished in 28:38 minutes. Everybody else on the team put a lot of effort into the race. The race took place with the backdrop of a beautiful mountain with its dazzling fall colors and unseasonably mild weather.
