Ma’ayanot Forensics Students Learn to Fingerprint   

Mrs. Stein’s forensics class traveled to the Bergen County Bureau of Criminal Investigation, where they had the privilege of meeting Detective Carla Ham. In an insightful session, Detective Ham shared her extensive experience, offering a firsthand account of the bureau’s multifaceted role in solving crimes. The visit included a dynamic question and answer segment, enriching students’ understanding of forensic techniques. A highlight of the excursion was the guided tour through the fingerprinting area, providing students with hands-on experience in processing and cataloging fingerprints—a pivotal aspect of modern forensic investigation.
