This past Friday, Ma’ayanot was privileged to welcome Sivan Rahav-Meir, a distinguished media personality in Israel and one of the most influential speakers and Torah educators worldwide, to speak to the entire faculty and student body. Rahav-Meir shared uplifting stories about a few moments that changed her life. She then gave students practical strategies to achieve their potential in advance of Rosh Hashanah. Her talk, “The Soul’s Power to Choose,” was an amazing kickoff to the year of Torah programming. Ma’ayanot’s theme this year, “Hineni: Right Here, Right Now,” aims to challenge students to be present as their authentic selves in each moment. The Ma’ayanot community looks forward to a year of Torah programming that will uplift, inspire a feeling of “Hineni” and encourage a heightened state of presence for the rest of the year.
