Ma’ayanot’s seniors visited Yeshiva University’s uptown campus, where they were treated to a shiur by Rabbi Daniel Stein, rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva University (and the husband of MTA’s very own Mrs. Gila Stein), about tzedaka and the ability to serve as Hashem’s messengers in this world. The seniors then had the opportunity to shop at the Seforim Sale, with Ma’ayanot teachers available to guide them towards seforim that would be great for them depending on their own personal interests, learning goals, and religious aspirations.

After enjoying lunch on Amsterdam Avenue, the seniors then visited Arts & Creations Pottery Studio for a fun afternoon of bonding and painting. The trip was a fabulous opportunity to mark the beginning of the second semester of senior year, with a focus on the spirituality, achdut and fun that blend together to create an experience that is uniquely Ma’ayanot.
