A group of Ma’ayanot students, accompanied by Ma’ayanot faculty members Elana Flaumenhaft and Enid Goldberg, traveled to Washington, D.C. last week to participate in AIPAC’s annual lobbying mission. One Ma’ayanot family, the Cohen family, had the honor of sending three sisters, alumna Michal ‘12 and current students Elisheva ‘16 and Tamar ‘18, to the conference. The sisters met with Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) to speak about the importance of direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
