Ma’ayanot was honored to welcome Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) to address students and faculty about the U.S.-Israel relationship and rising antisemitism in the United States. Gottheimer has been a powerful voice for Israel and the Jewish community. Following the horrors of October 7, students have been actively reaching out to elected officials and educating themselves on the issues. Representative Gottheimer was able to reinforce a powerful message to our students that constituents’ voices have power and that even though students are young, they can participate in the political process.
