Several times a century, the little planet Mercury passes between the Sun and Earth. On November 11, the Heichal HaTorah Telescope Club set up a 10-inch Dobsonian telescope along with a 10,000 times light reducer to safely view this event. The images were stunning. As the Navi instructs us “שְׂאוּ-מָרוֹם עֵינֵיכֶם וּרְאוּ מִי-בָרָא אֵלֶּה, Lift your eyes Heavenward and see Who created all of these things.” (Isaiah 40:26)
