It’s time to think about your Purim wig! Purim is always a great time to push past your comfort zone and have some fun with your wig. Have you been eyeing those crazy fun fantasy colors sported by celebrities and models? From the red carpet to the runway, pastel colored hair has never been more popular.

I am by no means conservative when it comes to hair color, but I have been skeptical of this trend as I was convinced it would be short lived. But after a few years, I have been proven wrong. Not only is this trend still around, it’s being taken to the next level with very deep pigmented colors that are bolder than before! These colors are being seen more and more on the “common folks.” I have even done a few wigs with some of these fun color highlights.

The fun part of this trend is that you don’t have to commit to a color. You can use a temporary dye that washes out after just one or two washes. Some women who are toying with this trend opt for a very soft color that just gives off a slight subtle hue of their desired fantasy color. Clip in hair colored extensions are the best way to go for those who want to try to ease into the look. The jury is still out whether to rock this look for everyday or reserve these colors solely for Purim fun.
