MIT graduate, Mark Velednitsky, will discuss the basis and nuance of board games. Mark’s passion for board games was discovered at an early age. He studied Combinatorics, the mathematical field that examines the long-term behavior of random events, and later used Combinatorics to develop his own board game: Trade. At this talk, Mark will give an overview of the math of games. In particular, Mark will explain how to use math to get better at your favorite games and develop your own.
