Matisyahu to Headline United Hatzalah of Israel Concert at BergenPAC

(Courtesy of United Hatzalah) On Monday, Sept. 16, in Englewood, United Hatzalah will present “A Night of Unity for Israel” at the bergenPac theater in Englewood. This special event will feature an inspiring concert by Matisyahu and an insightful update on Israel from former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren. It will also be emceed by Rabbi David-Seth Kirshner of Temple Emanu-El of Closter, New Jersey.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show starting promptly at 8. The VIP reception, including a meet and greet with Matisyahu, Oren and Eli Beer, United Hatzalah’s CEO and founder, will also begin at 7.

United Hatzalah is proud to honor the Glaser family with the prestigious L’Dor V’Dor Award. This award, symbolizing the passing of the flame from generation to generation, perfectly reflects the Glaser family’s enduring legacy with United Hatzalah. As Nina Glaser recently shared, “This legacy starts with my dad, David Luria, who planted the seed many years ago about the importance of tzedaka and tikkun olam.” Over the years, Nina and Gary, Andrew and Elisa, along with Andrew’s company, Vantage Auto, have generously dedicated several vehicles to United Hatzalah. Most notably, during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Andrew Glaser led a campaign that raised over $415,000 for United Hatzalah’s Emergency Fund, directly contributing to saving lives.

Before the VIP reception, the Glaser family will privately unveil the dedication of four new lifesaving ambucycles at 6:30 p.m. These ambucycles will soon be deployed on the streets of Israel, continuing the family’s legacy of giving.
