Moriah’s kitah bet celebrated an incredible milestone this week. All three classes gave spectacular performances in honor of receiving their Chumashim! Parents and grandparents beamed with pride as they watched their children sing and dance while reciting highlights of Jewish history. The children understand that they are the next link in the chain of the mesorah and that the Jewish future depends on the learning of Torah as well as Hashem’s promise of Eretz Yisrael to Am Yisrael. Rabbi Alter and Morah Odelia presented the Chumashim to each student with the bracha that each and every one will go on to become an independent and lifelong learner of Torah!
