(Courtesy of Boys Town) On a recent visit to Intel Jerusalem, the youngest generation of robotics enthusiasts met face-to-face with the very newest generation of computer processing chips now being readied for the market. Although Intel Jerusalem—the giant corporation’s global development center for autonomous cars and more—does not often host groups of visitors, they cordially opened their doors for Boys Town Jerusalem’s champion robotics team. In their on-the-scene-at-Intel introduction to the intricacies of producing state-of-the-art logic chips, the future technological professionals (today eighth through 12th graders) touched the fascinating world of tomorrow.
