The Yeshiva University men’s soccer program was named to the NSCAA men’s college team academic award winners list for the 2014-2015 year. The prestigious accolade from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America is granted each year to programs that produce a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Maccabees produced an impressive GPA of 3.46 in 2014-2015, while delivering the team’s first winning season ever.
“This is one of the most prestigious awards any team can be honored with.” Head Coach Josh Pransky said. “It shows our players, as a team, have stayed focused and made their studies a priority. I am extremely proud of our team.”
The team is off to their best ever Skyline Conference start in 2015, going undefeated through their first three league games and currently holding the top spot in the standings.
