Meor Rutgers Jewish Xperience invites the entire community to an art sale/auction and café night, to be held on Saturday night, December 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation Ohr Torah, 48 Edgemount Rd, Edison. The event is in tribute to Harvey Paretzky, z”l, a longtime beloved member of the Edison/Highland Park community. The evening will feature and an art sale and auction of over 120 pieces of art, a wine tasting with Ari Lockspeiser of www.kosherwine.com, a full dairy buffet and an espresso bar. Meor Rutgers Jewish Xperience works with hundreds of Jewish students of all backgrounds and education levels each week. Students attend shabbatons, classes, lunch and learns, seminars and chavrutas with RJX staff. They experience life changing trips to Poland and Israel, and within the US. Many students do summer internships in Israel via RJX programs and some even make aliyah. RJX has recently expanded to Columbia University, Montclair State University and Rider University under the banner Meor UJX.
