This weeks spotlight game takes us to Yeshivat Ben Porat Yosef on a snowy motzei Shabbos, despite the inclement weather team E.W. Berger faced off against the ever talented Confei team.
E.W. Berger, looking for their first victory of the season came out running and scored the first points of a put back by Zachary Raykher, followed by a transition basket from Ben Richman, but Confei answered back with three consecutive three pointers to take a one point lead into the second quarter.
Confei continued to pour on the treys (six of their eight players connected from downtown) but could not keep up with the fast paced game of E.W. Berger’s Shmuel Yablock who scored a game high 29 points (19 in the final two quarters), as E.W. Berger pulled away to a 52-47 victory
