This week’s spotlight game picks up right where we left off before yeshiva break. The Motzei Shabbat games at Ma’ayanot High School saw two teams Nothing But Net…work Doctor and Arnold Schoen MD come back from 20 point deficits and take a lead in the final minutes. Arnold Schoen MD held on to beat Space Jam, but Nothing But Net…work Doctor fell just short to the Wolverines at the buzzer.
The first game on Super Bowl Sunday featured two undefeated teams, the Buckets vs Team Chai Lifeline. The scoring started early and often with the two teams combining for 35 points in the first quarter. The offensive explosion continued all game with 14 of the 15 players scoring multiple times and both teams combining for 119 points. Chai Lifeline’s big man Dov Klar lead all scorers with 22 points and dominant play on the boards, as Chai Lifeline remains undefeated.
The action continues next week at Yeshivat Noam, Ben Porat Yosef and Yavneh Academy.
