(Courtesy of MGBL) Fresh off their MGBL championship win in the fifth and sixth grade girls’ league, team Embroidme took their show on the road to Fairleigh Dickinson University on Sunday, February 23. The girls were featured as the halftime show and held a scrimmage in front of an announced crowd of 368 fans watching the FDU-Robert Morris University Division I women’s game. Team Embroidme, coached by Jonathan Sklar, Michal Pruzansky and Ari Davis, thrilled the crowd with a lively performance, including tough defense and coast-to-coast fast breaks on the FDU Knights’ home court. Some of the scorers during the scrimmage included team MVP Gavriella Adler, as well as Naama Prager and Avital Sebbag. Team Embroidme enjoyed having their names announced over the P/A system as well as high-fiving the Lady Knights at the end of the first half. The girls were invited to participate in on-the-court contests during the game and Gabi Davis warmed up with the Lady Knights as their ball girl for the game. Thanks to FDU for arranging an awesome afternoon in the limelight that the girls of team Embroidme will not soon forget.
