(Courtesy of Migdal Ohr) Over 250 Migdal Ohr supporters gathered for a fantastic evening at the first-ever BASHMO Englewood. It was a dazzling, inspired evening featuring premium Israeli wines, elevated Israeli street foods, a raffle and a silent auction—all in support of Migdal Ohr’s orphaned and underprivileged children in Israel.
The event is the third of its kind hosted by American Friends of Migdal Ohr (AFMO) and raised tens of thousands of dollars that will benefit the children directly. It started in Teaneck and was brought to Englewood by hosts Danielle and Joe Cohen, who wanted to make an impact by getting their community involved. It was amazing to see people show so much love for children in need and to feel that this is just the start of an incredible partnership that will build Israel for generations to come.
Thank you to gracious hosts Danielle and Joe Cohen who opened their home and to AFMO’s dedicated event chairs Joe and Danielle Cohen, Dovid and Daniella Katz, Naftali and Lauren Schuss, Avi and Nicki Lieberman, Jason and Eeta Pinewski, Elias and Livia Marcovici, Alphonse and Mor Soued, and Noam and Ilanna Heller who worked to make the event a smashing success.
Thank you to everyone who participated and brought so much more light to the world! The children in Israel know that you care and they have a loving home because of your generosity and dedication.
