New York—Migdal Ohr, Israel’s premier organization for underprivileged, orphaned, abused and new immigrant children, will hold its Annual Gala Dinner on Monday, June 6 at Tribeca 360 in New York City. This year’s event will honor distinguished supporters who have contributed significantly to the success of the organization over its 43-year history.
Migdal Ohr is proud to recognize our Honorees Dr. Arthur Henry and Adina Gerber of Lawrence, New York and Louis and Anat Menaged of New York City for their unwavering commitment and dedication to Migdal Ohr’s children in need. Rabbi Allen and Alisa Schwartz, also of New York City, will be receiving the Rabbinic Partnership Award.
The evening will pay tribute to these couples and will also include a special program featuring Migdal Ohr’s Founder and Dean and 2004 Israel Prize winner, Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman. Prominent criminal defense attorney and outspoken advocate on behalf of Israel and the greater Jewish community Benjamin Brafman, Esq. will be the Master of Ceremonies.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that two 11th-grade Migdal Ohr students who are enrolled in the Mevashlim L’Atid “Cooking Up a Future” program will be attending this year’s Gala and working with the caterer to prepare a special dish for the guests.
This year’s Gala co-chairs include Jeff and Shira Eisenberg of Lawrence, New York, and Jordana and Adam Grunfeld of New York City.
