Mikvah of Englewood to Host Second Annual Dinner

(Courtesy of Mikvah of Englewood) The Rebbetzin Peggy Gopin Weiss Mikvah of Englewood is excited to be celebrating its second annual dinner event, which will be held on November 12 at Kehilat Kesher Synagogue at 7:30 p.m.

The Mikvah of Englewood, established in 2016, provides women of the expanding Bergen County communities the opportunity to fulfill the important mitzvah of family purity. In addition to offering services of ritual purity, the Rebbetzin Peggy Gopin Weiss Mikvah of Englewood is designed with the principles of modesty, privacy and sacredness in mind. With its beautiful design and hallways adorned with contemporary artwork, the Mikvah creates a welcoming and spiritual environment for women to adhere to one of the foundational aspects of Jewish familial life. The mikvah itself features seven dressing rooms, including a large bridal room, two heated pools and a separate keylim mikvah. The Mikvah of Englewood was built with everyone in mind, and there is an interior entrance for handicapped accessibility as well as a fully handicapped-accessible room. For both Erev Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur the mikvah also accommodates separate hours for men only.

On November 12, women from the Bergen County communities will join together to celebrate the Rebbetzin Peggy Gopin Weiss Mikvah of Englewood and its central role in religious law and life. Attendees of the event will also hear from guest speaker Dini Klein—chef, food host and founder of @Prepandrally. Prep and Rally is a completely customizable meal-prep service that gives unique, nourishing and flavorful dinners all week long. Creating food content is Dini’s other passion and she’s worked with brands such as Walmart, Starbucks, Weight Watchers, Barilla and more. The dinner that will be served at the mikvah event will feature some of Dini’s very own recipes.

The Rebbetzin Peggy Gopin Weiss Mikvah of Englewood relies on the generosity of the community to bridge the gap between usage fees and their operating budget. It relies on and is grateful to the community for their support, which allows the mikvah to prosper and continue to offer services of ritual purity against the backdrop of a serene spa-like experience. The organizing committee encourages all members of the Englewood, Tenafly and surrounding Bergen County communities to join us for this critically important event and riveting evening. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Mikvah of Englewood and its invaluable place within Jewish life. From women, to brides, to keylim, the mikvah truly is at the core of our lives. To register for the event or to make a donation please visit www.englewoodmikvah.org/event.
